All dancers of Jade's Hip Hop Academy performed in the sold out Lester B. Pearson Theatre in Brampton that night.
A total of 20 routines was shown by teams, duets and soloists.
The competitive and pre-competitive dancers showed their succesful routines of 2009 with which they won numerous awards and first places this year.
It was for many of the recreational dancers their first time to shine on stage. All teams did a phenomenal job. Stealing the show however were the 3-5 year olds who showed that they too can dance hip hop, break dance, krump, popping and tutting.Their video can be watched on youtube under the title "Mini Me's" as most of these dancers have their siblings dance in the older groups.
Ground Illusion was a special treat for everyone as our Break Dance Instructor showed his skills with some of his crew members in a breath taken routine.
Last but not least is the every year surprise routine from the competitive parenst who mimics part of their childrens competitive routines.
Allthough we do this every year it's not known to the children who is in the adult routine. The dancers who suddenly discover that their parent are dancing and are trying hard to execute their intricate choreography support their parents with enthusiasm.
This year's Performance Showcase of Jade's Hip Hop Academy was a tremendous success. We can't wait until next year's Performance Showcase 2010.
