Terpsichore Dance Celebrations

 

On March 5^th, 6^th and 7^th our competitive teams competed in the Terpsichore Dance Celebrations in Mississauga at the Living Arts Centre. Dancers did fantastic, winning many 1^st, overalls, special awards and scholarships. Below are the results and check out the pictures in our “Photographs” section.

Luv2Dance

 

On Thursday April 2^nd, five Jade’s HipHopAcademy competitive teams, one solo and one duet competed at Luv 2 Dance Competition in Niagara Falls at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. All entrees were very successful winning more overalls, special awards and some BIG cash scholarships! A special Congratulations goes out to SCREAM, J5 and SWAGGER LIKE US who had to beat out 3-4 competitors in their categories to come first!

Congratulations to Megan, Shanice, Tannice, Janae, Jonelle, Shanelle, Cheyenne, Nirvani, Reasa, Patrick, Devon and Jendayi who all received $1000.00 scholarships to a Hip Hop Summer Intensive in Toronto.

Canadian National Dance Championships

 

 

Canadian National Dance Championships took play on May 1st and 2nd in Hamilton. This was the first competition for our three pre-competitive teams and they all came away with 90's at their first competition! The highlight of course was our youngest team ages 5-7 "Lil Showstoppers" amazing performance and their Overall win in the Novice Division!
